GLENWORTH VALLEY HORSE RIDING, PEATS RIDGE Australia's largest horse riding centre offers beautiful trails through rainforest and delightful valleys and winding creeks, plus unbelievably refreshing swimming in rock pools. You can enjoy the freedom of free range riding or take a gentle guided ride. There‚s also 500 acres of riverfront camping available.
MT PENANG GARDENS, KARIONG Over 6 ha of feature gardens, waterfalls and other unique water features. Café with light meals and superb garden gift shop.
AUSTRALIAN RAINFOREST SANCTUARY, OURIMBAH 5km of forest walks and the opportunity to view Wallabies and Wallaroos. Bird feeding daily, light show, refreshments, picnic area and function centre.
HENRY KENDALL COTTAGE AND HISTORICAL MUSEUM, WEST GOSFORD The poet Henry Kendall lived in this sandstone cottage (built c1836) in 1874-5. It's set in one hectare of tranquil parkland and includes large museum, slab-shed, picnic and BBQ facilities.
AVOCA BEACH THEATRE This magnificent heritage cinema will take you back to the golden age of movie going. Magnificent art deco interior, historical movie memorabilia and coffee bar.
THE ENTRANCE PELICAN FEEDING Hand feeding of the pelicans is one of the Central Coast's most popular attractions. It takes place at 3.30pm daily at The Entrance Memorial Park and it's free.

THE COWRIE 109 Scenic Highway, Terrigal. The food matches the location, out of this world. DRAGON'S DOOR CHINESE, SEAFOOD RESTAURANT Shop T, 318-319 Erina Fair Shopping Centre, Terrigal Drive, Erina. If you enjoy YUM CHA, look no further. They specialise in it here, and it's served every lunchtime from 11 to 3pm. A la carte dinner from 5 to 10pm.
NATIONAL PARKS BRISBANE WATER NATIONAL PARK The Brisbane Water National Park conserves 12,000 ha of rugged sandstone country. It's a great place for bush walking, bird watching or simply sightseeing, the endless carpets of wild flowers are particularly pleasing.
MUNMORAH STATE CONSERVATION AREA 40km north of Gosford, Munmorah SCA is another area well endowed with wildflowers and wonderful ocean views. It's also great for surfing, fishing, picnicking, camping, bushwalking and geological study. BOUDDI NATIONAL PARK The Bouddi National Park is located on the northern entrance to Broken Bay, 20km south-east of Gosford. A wonderful area for fishing, snorkelling, camping and observing wildlife.
WYRRABLONG NATIONAL PARK Wyrrablong conserves the last significant littoral rainforest on the Coast. It's also a top spot for bushwalking, swimming, picnicking, bird watching and observing wildlife.
YENGO NATIONAL PARK Yengo is an extensive tract of wild bushland territory which stretches along the foot of the Great Dividing Range between Wisemans Ferry and the Hunter Valley.
DHARUG NATIONAL PARK Located on the northern bank of the Hawkesbury River, Dharug National Park preserves a rugged sandstone landscape, and offers unlimited scope for bushwalking, bike riding and sightseeing including the spectacular convict-built Old Great North Road.
